Join us today! ** The *Accounting Technician*performs accounting work in the development and maintenance of the Department’s accounting systems. Major areas of concern are Personal Services, Inmate Accounts, Accounts Payable, and accounts receivable. This position assists in performing all accounting, collection, and payroll functions. *QUALIFICATIONS* The knowledge, skills and abilities for this position are typically acquired through a combination of education and experience equivalent to: * 2 years job-related college or vocational training in Business Administration, Accounting or Finance  * 3 to 4 years of job-related work experience.  Alternative combinations of education and experience will be considered on a case-by-case basis. *BENEFITS*** Your service is rewarded with competitive compensation and generous* *State of Montana Benefits.
