    Abound Health, a leader in providing compassionate and personalized services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD), is seeking a dedicated and motivated Driver to join our team of Direct Support Professionals.     Responsibilities/Qualifications:

    + Safely transport individuals with IDD to and from home, day programs, medical appointments, and community outings

    + Provide assistance with entering and exiting vehicles as needed

    + Monitor safety and well-being of passengers during transport

    + Maintain cleanliness and safety of vehicles at all times

    + Adhere to daily route schedules and communicate with team members regarding any delays or concerns

    + Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and promptly

    + Participate in initial and ongoing training and staff development

    + Ability to work independently in the community and adapt to varying transportation needs

    + Demonstrated patience, reliability, and attentiveness to client safety and comfort

    + Experience supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities is preferred

    Requirements:

    + Must be at least 18 years old

    + Valid driver’s license, current automotive insurance, and reliable transportation

    + Ability to pass criminal record, driving record, and healthcare registry checks

    + Lifting may be required depending on individual client needs

    + CPR/First Aid Certification (training provided by company)

     

    Pay: $16.50 per hour

    Schedule:

    Monday

     

    + Morning: 7:00 AM – 10:00 AM

    + Midday: 11:30 AM – 12:40 PM

    + Afternoon: 1:45 PM – 4:40 PM

     

    Tuesday

     

    + Morning: 7:15 AM – 10:00 AM

    + Afternoon: 1:45 PM – 4:40 PM

     

    Wednesday

     

    + Morning: 7:15 AM – 10:00 AM

    + Afternoon: 11:30 AM – 4:15 PM

     

    Thursday

     

    + Morning: 7:15 AM – 10:15 AM

    + Afternoon: 11:30 AM – 4:15 PM

     

    Friday

     

    + Morning: 7:00 AM – 10:00 AM

    + Afternoon: 1:45 PM – 4:40 PM

    Experience:

    + Transportation: 1 year (Preferred)

    + In person

    Travel:

    + Travel is expected from the client's home into the community
