• Travel/Local Ultrasound Technician

    Amergis (Des Moines, IA)


    Salary: $2667 / Week

     

    The Ultrasound Technician performs a variety of specializedtechnical tasks utilizing high frequency ultrasound waves to assist with thedetection of medical conditions or abnormalities by producing images of theinside of a patient’s body.

    Minimum Requirements:

    + A certification from an accredited ultrasound school

    + One year of experience as an ultrasound technicianpreferred.

    + Current CPR if applicable

    + TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable

    + Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation)

    + Must meet all federal, state and local requirements

    + Must be at least 18 years of age

    + 2+ years experience - strong all around General/Vascular ULT/Sonographer

    + MUST be able/willing to do peds and adult cases

    + ARDMS (AB) required, + one other advanced education discipline

    + EPIC experience

     

    Nights; 3x12 hr shifts, 36 hrs/week; Call - possible, Weekends - possible, as needed

     

    Travel Pay: $2,523 weekly

     

    Local pay rate is available
