Special Education Teacher | $42–$47/hr | Full-Time | Rio Rancho, NM | 2025–2026 School Year

Amergis Educational Staffing is hiring a full-time Special Education Teacher to support a middle school behavioral classroom in Rio Rancho, New Mexico for the 2025–2026 school year. This in-person role begins October 15, 2025, and runs through May 29, 2026, offering $42–$47/hour, based on experience and licensure.

Position Overview:

+ Location: Rio Rancho, NM

+ Start Date: October 15, 2025

+ End Date: May 29, 2026

+ Schedule: Monday–Friday, ~7:30 AM – 4:00 PM

+ Hours: 37.5/week

+ Modality: In-person

+ Pay Rate: $42–$47/hour

Classroom Details:

+ Middle school behavioral/social communication setting

+ Candidates must be comfortable managing challenging behaviors

+ Classroom support available (paras, behavior techs, nurses)

+ Responsibilities include teaching and case management

+ Caseload details provided during interview

Minimum Requirements:

+ Valid New Mexico teaching certificate with SPED endorsement

+ Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university (preferred)

+ One year of teaching experience (preferred)

+ CPR certification, TB clearance, and health certificate as applicable

+ Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements

+ Must be at least 18 years of age
