WIN Waste Innovations is looking for a Director of Total Rewards in our corporate office in Portsmouth, NH. The Director of Total Rewards is a critical senior leader in the HR organization and is responsible for leading four functional areas and teams in the Human Resources department which include Compensation, Benefits, HRIS and Payroll. The Director will ensure our compensation and benefits are rewarding, competitive and support our company goals. The Director will oversee the organization's HRIS systems with the goal of increasing the efficiency of HR processes and systems, ensuring effective data capture and accurate reporting. This role will also oversee the Payroll Department ensuring accurate and efficient pay practices and processing.
Responsibilities:
+ Oversee the implementation, communication, and administration of the organization's benefits programs to include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, retirement/401K, leave policies, disability, unemployment and wellness.
+ Ensure smooth operation of benefits programs in all phases (implementation, open enrollment, HRIS/payroll interfaces, option changes etc.).
+ Evaluate market data, industry trends, and best practices, seeking opportunities to enhance WIN Waste employer value proposition.
+ Designs, develops, and implements company compensation programs, policies and procedures.
+ Partners with executive leadership to achieve organization's desired position in the talent marketplace and to execute compensation goals by strategically aligning compensation programs with competitive HR practices and company business objectives.
+ Oversee the design and development of our compensation strategy and programs, ensuring competitive pay by participating in annual salary surveys, staying on top of market trends, researching, and evaluating market pricing and making recommendations for salary structure.
+ Develop appropriate business, HR, and talent metrics, with a focus on predictive analytics.
+ Oversee implementations of the Company's HRIS platform, to include all applicable compensation and benefit programs. Strong orientation towards ongoing management of pay and benefit plans through manager- and employee self-service modules.
+ Assist the HR Operations team with testing of system changes, report writing and analyzing data flow for process improvement opportunities.
+ Implement payroll strategy and operating model within the context of a rapidly evolving HR Shared Services model and provide tactical direction to the Payroll Leads across the globe
+ Maximize the effectiveness of technologies and supporting processes to drive continuous improvement and change initiatives
+ Own oversight of Payroll to ensure compliance with all corporate and country-specific policies and procedures
+ Drive controls and operational excellence including, but not limited to, SOX oversight and controls and compliance programs
+ Maintain a positive work environment by acting and communicating in a manner so that you get along with customers, clients, vendors, co-workers and management.
Qualifications/Skills
+ Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field.
+ 10 + years of experience in the development, implementation and execution of Compensation, Benefits, and HRIS strategies, including 5 years' experience leading a team.
+ Expert knowledge of executive compensation and benefits, including advanced knowledge of state and federal laws to ensure compliance.
+ Demonstrated expertise in HRIS planning and implementation.
+ Creative, progressive thought leadership with the ability to influence at all levels in an organization.
+ Flexibility to be proactive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
+ Proven organizational skills and ability to prioritize competing demands.
+ Excellent verbal and communication/customer service skills.
