Sr Subcontracts Specialist

As a Sr Subcontracts Specialist here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in managing subcontracting activities, ensuring compliance with procurement policies, and driving cost-effective solutions within our Aerospace Procurement team.

You will work out of our Tempe, AZ location on a Hybrid work schedule.

Hybrid Work Schedule Note: For the first 90 days, External New Hires must be prepared to work 100% onsite M-F.

In this role, you will impact the overall efficiency and effectiveness of our subcontracting processes, contributing to the successful execution of our aerospace projects and initiatives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead the development and negotiation of subcontract agreements to ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify subcontracting needs and implement effective procurement strategies.

• Analyze supplier performance and manage relationships to drive continuous improvement and cost savings.

COMPENSATION:

• The Salary range for this position is $84K - $110K. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.

Key Responsibilities

+ Responsible for managing all subcontracts with suppliers for products and services needed throughout project life cycles; Engage with internal program office/contracts group and support Program Managers on subcontractor cost, performance, and schedule matters; Administer existing subcontracts and maintain subcontract records; Stay updated on regulatory changes affecting subcontracts; Communicate regularly with subcontractors and address performance issues; Evaluate bids and proposals for compliance with company policies and program requirements; Lead in the evaluation of proposals; Execute quickreact requirements identified by the program team; Respond to data calls and support audit activities

YOU MUST HAVE

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in subcontract management or procurement

• Must be a US Person due to contractual requirements

• Proven experience in subcontract management or procurement within the aerospace industry.

• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in contract negotiation and compliance.

• Experience with procurement software and tools.

• Familiarity with aerospace industry standards and regulations.

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

• Strong negotiation skills and the ability to manage complex supplier relationships.

• Knowledge of risk management and mitigation strategies.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
