    An employer is looking for a Sr. Program Manager for one of our top clients in the Nation. We are seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead large-scale transformation and risk/planning initiatives. This role is ideal for a strategic leader who thrives in complex environments, excels at risk management, and can operationalize program plans for multi-million-dollar projects. A Program Manager who is experienced leading risk and issue management, integrated dependency planning, and project recovery efforts for large-scale programs will be successful in this role. It is critical for ensuring projects remain on track, supporting delivery leaders, and driving programs back to “green” status when issues arise. The ideal candidate will be a recovery expert with deep PMO governance experience, exceptional political acumen, and a reputation for turning around troubled projects!

    Skills and Requirements

    - 10+ Years of experience in a Program Manager or Sr. Project Manager role

     

    - Experience managing large transformation programs: Must have managed programs of at least $100 million in size.

     

    - Risk management expertise: Ability to identify, remediate, and manage risks and issues in large-scale transformation programs. (Including integrated dependency planning and inter-program risk discussions.)

     

    - Extensive PMO Governance Experience: Proven background in program management office governance, with exposure to large, complex program constructs.

     

    - Understanding of program planning: Should be able to take theoretical frameworks (from third party vendors) and operationalize them in real-world settings.

     

    - Security background (preferred): Should understand security protocols and literature, but deep specialization is not required.

     

    - Strong political and interpersonal skills: Must be adept at navigating organizational politics and stakeholder management. - Experience in utility, energy, or similarly regulated industries.

     

    - Background in integrated project planning and dependency management.

     

    - Familiarity with business readiness, training, and documentation for large program rollouts.

     

    - Ability to lead and assemble cross-functional SWAT teams for project recovery.
