    Job Description

    Insight Global is seeking an experienced IT Business Analyst to lead the business analysis efforts for a State Agency’s enterprise application built on the Microsoft technology stack. This role requires a strong technical foundation, excellent documentation skills, and the ability to collaborate across development, QA, and business teams. The pay rate for this role ranges from 45-50 dollars and hour based on the candidates years of experience.

    Responsibilities:

    Lead end-to-end business analysis for applications built on .NET, SQL Server, Azure services, and Power Platform.

     

    Translate business needs into detailed functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.

     

    Document workflows, data models, and system integrations with precision and clarity.

     

    Collaborate with developers and QA teams to ensure requirements are implemented accurately.

     

    Manage backlogs, releases, and test cases using Azure DevOps.

     

    Support UAT and manual testing efforts for critical user journeys.

     

    Reverse-engineer legacy systems and contribute to modernization efforts.

    Skills and Requirements

     

    5+ years of experience as an IT Business Analyst.

    Hands-on experience with:

     

    -SQL Server (queries, stored procedures, schema understanding)

     

    -Azure services and Azure DevOps

     

    -Power Platform, especially Power BI

     

    Exceptional documentation and communication skills.
