    Job Description

    Insight Global is hiring an IT Project Manager to support our client on site in San Antonio, Texas. This role leads public sector technology prototype projects and requires someone who thrives in fast-moving, undefined environments.

     

    The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, curiosity, and the ability to manage diverse teams and stakeholders. You’ll manage up to 4 active prototype projects at a time and help scope up to 10 across the year. Success in this role requires versatility, adaptability, and the ability to define KPIs, timelines, and compliance in areas where answers aren’t always clear.

    Day to Day you will:

    • Lead multiple IT prototype projects from planning to delivery

    • Define KPIs, create timelines, and track progress of projects and the team

    • Communicate clearly with executives, technical teams, and internal team

    • Manage risks, budgets, and contract compliance

    • Scope and prioritize future projects for the organization

    • Draft impact reports based on prototype findings and inform recommendations

    Skills and Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree + 5 years of project management (public sector/IT preferred)

    • Experience leading cross-functional teams and stakeholders

    • Strong writing, organizational, and documentation skills

    • Proficiency with project management and data visualization tools (Planner, Visio, MS Project, etc.)

    • Ability to “code switch” and explain technical concepts to diverse audiences • PMP or other PM certification/s

    • MPA/MPP or advanced degree

    • Familiarity with public procurement processes

    • Proficiency in data analysis and visualization
