Summary of Responsibilities:
Join ATC’s Legal Department and gain hands-on experience supporting a team that manages federal and state regulatory matters, litigation, and corporate governance. This internship offers exposure to a wide range of legal projects in a fast-paced, dynamic environment within the energy industry.
Essential Responsibilities:
What You’ll Do
• Support in-house attorneys on legal research, drafting, and analysis.
• Assist with matters involving federal and state regulatory compliance.
• Contribute to corporate and commercial legal projects, including contracts and governance documentation.
• Help prepare materials for hearings, filings, and internal business partners.
• Participate in department meetings and observe how legal strategy supports business operations.

What We’re Looking For
• Current second-year law student in good academic standing.

• Effective communicator who collaborates well in a team environment.
• Interest in energy law, regulation, or corporate law preferred.

The pay range for this position is $23-27/hr. The pay range is a general guideline. Employment offers are evaluated individually and consider qualifications, experience and academic achievements.
