    The Associate Business Systems Analyst position pays between $54,720 and $68,400, the Business Systems Analyst pays between $63,440 and $79,300, and the Senior Business Systems Analyst pays between $78,640 and $98,300. Placement in any level is based on skills, experience, and education of the successful candidate.

    Primary Duties and Responsibilities

    + Create and update business process decomposition models

    + Assist with technical specification documentation for small to medium-size requests

    + Collect and consolidate data to create analysis documentation under New Mexico Gas Company’s (NMGC) Systems Development Life-Cycle (SDLC) methodology.

    + Work with business partners to document detailed business requirements for possible systems enablement (automation)

    + Assists with the analysis, evaluation, and recommendation of software/hardware for operational business changes

    + Write, debug, test, and execute ad-hoc SQL scripts

    + Coordinate project tasks, resources, and schedules.

    * BSA & Senior BSA-Entry Level Duties Plus Additional Responsibilities

    Successful Candidate Must Have:

    + Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Information/Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering, Mathematics, Information Systems, or equivalent discipline

    + Associate BSA: 2 years of experience

    + BSA: 4 years of experience

    + Senior BSA: 8 years of experience and Bachelor’s Degree

    + Additional experience may be considered in lieu of Associate or Bachelor's degree

    + Must maintain a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.

    + Preferences: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Experience with Banner or Hansen CIS. Experience with software requirements gathering, UI/UX design and testing, and web application support.

    WORKING CONDITIONS

    Normal office environment. Some projects may require overtime and weekend work.
