    POSITION SUMMARY

    Responsible for setting up and operating assigned laser machines.

    JOB QUALIFICATIONS

    The qualified associate who assumes these responsibilities will be expected to:

    + Ability to operate a laser machine (6 Months-1 year preferred)

    + Gages Experience

    + Manufacturing background

    + Knowledge of applied mathematics

    + Read, understand and utilize procedures, sketches, and blueprints as well as perform basic mathematical calculations

    + Ability to perform precise and detailed work

    + Communicate effectively and professionally with others, both written and verbal within the team

    + Follow and promote safe work practices

    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

    + Operates machine manually and inputs data (MDI)

    + Sets focal point and takes power reading

    + Sets up tool, jigs, fixtures and laser heads

    + Loads and unloads parts according to work instructions

    + Sets fixture offsets as required

    + Utilizes precision measuring instruments to inspect parts

    + Maintains accurate work records

    + Willingness to support team concept and learn/perform other duties as required
