The role you'll contribute: The Director of Oncology Services is directly responsible for the on-site and supervising cancer program operations across the East Florida Division at assigned campus. This includes key clinical support/financial programs, medical, radiation, surgical oncology, and infusion. The Director is responsible for assisting the strategy, development, operational oversight, and performance of outpatient cancer service lines to integrate care and drive a value-based model fully. This may include oversight and/or collaboration of practice administrators, care coordination, research, education, inpatient provider teams, and ancillary support teams as needed to drive performance across the care continuum effectively. Advises/manages all service areas that impact patient care for the cancer patient population. This position provides leadership and subject matter expertise for the cancer service line, resulting in high-quality outcomes and compelling performance that drive state and national reputation and rankings. Plans, directs, coordinates, and serves as the administrative liaison for service line activities, projects, and programs, including marketing, philanthropy, and other oncology activities. The Director works with the Medical Directors, the Oncology Service Line Administrator of the oncology service line, and campus leadership.

Develops and oversees radiation oncology program collaborating with other institutions for a standardized approach.
Provides oversight for related positions.
Initiates physician communications and ensures physician satisfaction with services.
Develops and oversees nurse navigation program, collaborating with other institutions for a standardized approach.
Recommends and develops modifications to policies and procedures as needed.
Develops and revises patient and staff cancer-related educational materials and provides staff and community education.
Manages hiring processes, team member counseling, coaching, termination, orientation, compliance, and monitor time and attendance.
Establishes and maintains positive communication and relationships with referring physicians and cancer care specialists.
Attends multidisciplinary conferences, committees and meetings.
Develop strategies to address specialty cancer care based on community needs assessment.
Executes strategic oncology plans.
Collaborate/and or oversees cancer social workers and cancer nurse navigators to promote multi-disciplinary care keeping the patient at the center.
Other duties as assigned.
Collaborates with medical oncology programs to ensure evidence-based and patient-centered care.
Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed:
Bachelor's Required
Master's Preferred
5 Work Experience Required
Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Required
Driver's License (DL) Required
Registered Technologist - Radiation Therapy (RTT) Preferred
Registered Nurse (RN) Required or
American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Required
