Job Overview
Are you a dynamic leader with a passion for driving results and empowering teams? We're seeking a Consumer Outbound Lending Supervisor to oversee our Consumer Outbound Lending team. This role is responsible for coaching and mentoring team members, implementing and refining loan policies and procedures, and identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency and profitability. The role also involves originating consumer loan applications, monitoring team performance, and driving production through strategic goal setting, cross-selling initiatives, and a focus on building stronger, more effective loan solutions.

What You'll Do:
+ Demonstrate leadership behaviors that cultivate success in people and achieve department and credit union objectives through clear job expectations and key performance indicators.
+ Supervise assigned department and develop, engage, and motivate employees through regular coaching, annual stay interviews and team building initiatives to successfully carry out goals and objectives.
+ Monitor and coach on key performance indicators for the outbound lending consultants.
+ Train employees in member service skills, product and service knowledge, cross-selling, and policies and procedures to ensure that they have the appropriate tools to improve member’s well-being.
+ Provide support for ancillary training and product knowledge.
+ Increase loan volume by reviewing loan applications for direct reports making recommendations for additional loan product opportunities using information obtained from credit reports.
+ Evaluate the work of employees and prepare formal performance reports for annual salary changes.
+ Responsible for ongoing communication with the VP, Consumer Lending regarding the direction of consumer outbound and the department.
+ Actively lend and produce within the role as defined in individual key performance indicators.
+ Maintain compliance with all Federal and State laws and regulations regarding lending and ensure that the teams are well informed of laws and regulations, and changes in said law.
+ Responsible for identifying high impact opportunities for enhancing the member experience.
+ Handle difficult members and review member complaints regarding problems with loan application or quality service.
+ Responsible for ongoing and collaborative work with Consumer Lending, Consumer Online Lending, Consumer Referral Lending, Consumer Processing, Consumer Underwriting, and various departments throughout the credit union.
+ Assist in training new employees on product knowledge, lending procedures and regulations, and cross selling skills.
+ Ensure appropriate workforce planning to maximize department efficiency and productivity within assigned team.
+ Perform other duties as assigned.
What You'll Need:
+ Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
+ Minimum of 5 years of proven success in lending.
+ Strong knowledge of lending practices, regulations, and collection laws.
+ Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems and make sound, strategic decisions.
+ Exceptional communication skills with the ability to lead, train, coach, and collaborate effectively across teams.
+ Proficient in analyzing and interpreting performance data and operational metrics.
