# Job Summary:
The logistics coordinator role will be supporting a large sized project with a complex Tarrif and Duties scope, as a deployed, dedicated resource in the field. Performs FTZ Administrative Logistics and transport support tasks, primarily in the field.\#LI-CS1
# Major Responsibilities:
+ Reports to and administered by the Transport and Marine Logistics Manager however receives operational direction from BGL Trade Compliance Manager.
+ Performs domestic and international multi-leg shipment responsibilities in support of project requirements to ensure the safe, timely, and economical delivery of goods to
+ meet project requirements.
+ Coordinates deliveries with requisite internal and external entities.
+ Ensures timely entry of shipment tracking data using DSCS, to provide visibility and shipment status.
+ Ensures timely audit and processing of Logistics service provider FTZ movement docuemntation in accordance with USA CBP and project procedures. Assists in preparation of Logistics reports or performance metrics as required to satisfy project information requirements.
+ Assists the project Logistics Lead as requested.
+ Assists with filing and resolution of Clients Tarrif claims.
+ Assists with preparation of bonded Transport service provider bid tabs, commitment authorizations and contract documents within the scope of Bechtel policies and
+ procedures.
+ Assists with preparation of logistics studies including Logistics service provider facility visits.
+ Integrates safety requirements and measures in all Logistics activities.
+ Receives functional guidance from the Corporate Logistics Manager.
# Supervision
+ Acts independently to determine methods, factors and resources to achieve results.
+ Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
+ Networks with State and Local regulators including USCG, USACE, Port Authority and DHS
+ Minimal supervision with wide latitude for independent judgement. Assists less-experienced team members and advoctaes Project delivery milestones
# Education and Experience Requirements:
+ Typically requires a bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 5 to 7 years of related experience.
# Required Knowledge and Skills:
+ USA CBP import and export requirements including facilitation of CBP and Port Director facility inspections and compliance management issues.
+ Experience with USA Biosecurity and Quarantine Laws and Regulations.
+ Very competent user of microsoft-suite and spreadsheet development.
+ Experience in organizing logistics within approved Free-Trade Agreements, is preferred.
+ Complies to and openly enages on safety standards and procedures.
+ Preferred that the individual has project Field experience. **_Additional Information:_** _Work requires the physical ability to conduct field inspections including but not limited to: extensive walking in and around a construction site often in high heat and high humidity conditions, climbing ladders, climbing scaffolding, working on elevated platforms, working on uneven surfaces, and working in small or confined spaces. Some lifting may be required. Must have the ability to walk into and out of the project (enter/egress). Must be able to use appropriate standard issued Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) required for each assigned task (i.e. harness, life vest, lift buckets, etc.)._
