Job Summary and Qualifications

We are seeking a detail-oriented and process-driven Business Analyst to join the Risk and Compliance Pod within our Digital Transformation and Innovation Department. This role is critical in supporting the intake, workflow, and documentation processes that ensure our innovations remain compliant and responsive to evolving regulatory and operational risks, while also helping to protect the intellectual property of our innovations.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the intake form process, facilitating Q&A with stakeholders, overseeing the end-to-end workflow and documentation lifecycle of the Risk & Compliance Pod, and assisting with the coordination of intellectual property related projects. This role requires strong analytical thinking, excellent communication skills, and a passion for improving processes.

DT&I’s mission is to bring innovative technology solutions to the clinical and administrative frontline of HCA, re-shaping healthcare processes to improve patient outcomes, empower clinicians with insights, and drive greater efficiency for all. In this role you will be responsible for innovating our care team processes, making them more intelligent, impactful, and efficient. In so doing, you will help our clinicians provide the best care possible and have a better experience in their work.

What you will do in this role:

+ Serve as the primary point of contact for intake form submissions related to DT&I initiatives that require risk and compliance review

+ Facilitate and document Q&A sessions with stakeholders to clarify intake form submissions and ensure completeness

+ Administer and continuously improve the workflow process for risk and compliance requests, ensuring timely progression and resolution

+ Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for all requests, decisions, and actions taken

+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Legal, Privacy, Security, Clinical Operations, Ethics & Compliance, Responsible AI, and Regulatory to ensure alignment and transparency

+ Identify opportunities for process optimization and automation within the intake and workflow systems

+ Generate reports and dashboards to track request statuses, bottlenecks, and performance metrics

+ Ensure all documentation and processes adhere to internal policies and external regulatory requirements

+ Assist with coordination of patent, trademark, and copyright prosecution activities and other intellectual property related projects

What qualifications you will need:

+ Bachelor's degree - Required

+ 3+ years of experience in a business analysis role, preferably in a healthcare or regulated environment - Required

+ 1+ year(s) of experience in risk and compliance – Preferred

Work Location/Schedule:

+ Nashville, TN area (near Centennial Park)

+ Onsite: M-F, 8am – 5pm
