Job Summary and Qualifications
HCA Healthcare’s Digital Patient Experience (DPx) organization is seeking a Consulting Product Analyst to join a fast-paced Marketing Technologies product team composed of product analysts and domain experts dedicated to advancing marketing product direction, integrity, and delivery. The DPx organization brings to life patient-facing digital products, including hospital and physician websites, registration and scheduling platforms, kiosks, the MyHealthONE patient portal, as well as supports internal marketing capabilities. The Consulting Product Analyst will collaborate with business partners, vendors, and other stakeholders to understand product priorities and contribute to the vision for improving the marketing technology stack. Building strong relationships with teams, peers, leadership, business partners, stakeholders, and vendors is essential for success in this role.
The Consulting Product Analyst within the Marketing Technologies vertical plays a vital role in aligning Digital Marketing and CRM needs with the Digital Patient Experience (DPX) and enterprise technology platforms, supporting HCA Healthcare’s extensive network of over 2,000 points of care. This individual works collaboratively across cross-functional technical teams within Marketing & Corporate Affairs and HCA Healthcare ITG, ensuring that enterprise standards and best practices in architecture, data governance, cybersecurity, and information protection are consistently understood, upheld, and well-documented.
In this leadership capacity, the Consulting Product Analyst drives results across marketing technology initiatives with a strong focus on security, operational efficiency, and value delivery. The role demands initiative, strategic thinking, and a commitment to excellence in enabling the priorities of ITG, DPX, and Marketing & Corporate Affairs. The successful candidate will be skilled at translating complex technology challenges into clear, actionable problem statements and solution frameworks. They will foster a collaborative, high-performance team culture while ensuring that business needs are accurately captured, technology roadmaps are aligned, and product delivery is executed in accordance with strategic goals.
Responsibilities span across shaping product strategy & roadmaps, prioritizing business problems, supporting delivery teams, maintaining product documentation, ensuring compliance with security protocols, enabling new product features, and leading security projects, among others. The analyst is expected to collaborate effectively with DPX leadership, Enterprise Architecture, Information Protection, Enterprise Data, and various Centers of Excellence across the HCA Healthcare Enterprise.
Success in this role requires the ability to comprehend and communicate complex ideas, articulate strategy and priorities to diverse teams and stakeholders, and consistently deliver high-quality work with attention to detail, self-awareness, and strong self-management.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
People
Communicate effectively for both technical and non-technical audiences
Advocate on behalf of delivery teams when concerns or issues arise
Use product and technical expertise to expose trends and influence decisions for our stakeholders
Build healthy trust and partnership relationships with staff, leadership, stakeholders, peers, and vendors
Work with leadership in resolving conflicts involving vendors, stakeholders and business partners
Provide excellent cross functional communication with Engineering, Analysis, Architecture, QA, and other technical stakeholder team members
Strategy & Planning
Collaborate with product, technology, and business teams across HCA Healthcare to set and evangelize product vision, strategy, metrics and roadmaps while influencing measured successful product and feature rollouts
Define new products and drive alignment across multiple business and technical stakeholder teams
Establish priority for features and capabilities to ensure project timelines are met while navigating priority tradeoffs to support changing business needs
In collaboration with Marketing Technology Product Manager, build strategic product roadmaps to drive real value for Marketing Technology with milestones for success inclusive of discovery, and measurement
Delivery & Execution
Lead product delivery teams and work with matrix partners to drive execution of projects across the product lifecycle
Translate business needs into documented, prioritized scope/plans and funding requests
Assess product and project effectiveness post implementation; leading troubleshooting efforts when needed
Support proactive issue resolution and productive problem solving when concerns arise around product design and business processes
Ability to understand technical challenges; know business and technical workflows, needs, value drivers, and decision-making process, in order to deliver product intent and goals
What qualifications you will need:
EDUCATION
Bachelor's Degree - Required
EXPERIENCE
7 or more years of experience in relevant work experience - Required
3 or more years of experience in a leadership role - Preferred
Or equivalent combination of education and/or experience could be considered
