Job Summary and Qualifications

We are currently recruiting for a Transporter to join our team! As our Patient Transporter, you will be responsible for greeting and transporting patients to and from all major ancillary departments using proper safety techniques and mode of transportation. We are seeking a phenomenal addition like you who feels patient care is as meaningful as we do. We want you to apply now!

What you will do in this role:

+ **You will transport patients from the patient room to the appropriate area by wheelchair, stretcher or bed**

+ **You will provide specialty beds as needed throughout the facility**

+ **You will transport laboratory specimens for pre-admit testing**

+ **You will transport crash carts to the pharmacy for restocking; assists the pharmacy in delivering medication during tube system downtime**

+ **You will provide courier/mailroom support as needed; and exchange empty O2 tanks throughout the facility with full tanks daily**

+ **Responsible for timely delivery and communication of delivery of remote telemetry boxes to clinical staff and monitor technicians**

+ **Must be able to demonstrate iPad and iPhone competency within 30 days of hire**

What qualifications you will need:

+ High School Diploma/GED equivalent or graduate from accredited program

+ Previous orderly or transport experience - preferred

+ Previous customer service experience

+ Knowledge of medical terminology or completion of medical terminology course

+ Basic Cardiac Life Support required or must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
