As our **Sales Planning Manager** for **Tom's of Maine** , you will be the strategic architect of our commercial success. This is a high-impact role where you will serve as the critical connector between our enterprise sales teams and the Tom's of Maine cross-functional team. Your primary goal is to empower the commercial teams to overdeliver against our Net Sales targets in a financially healthy and sustainable way.
You will drive the rhythm of the business by leading our monthly commercial discipline and annual planning processes. You will own our Net Sales tracking and trade rate management, translating complex data into a clear story of risks, opportunities, and trends for Senior Leadership. By championing the Tom’s of Maine business within the broader enterprise, you will increase our share of voice and ensure our go-to-market strategies are executed flawlessly.
_**This role can be based out of our Kennebunk, ME or New York, NY office.**_
What you will do:
_Strategic Planning & Financial Ownership_
+ Lead the monthly commercial discipline process, setting clear commercial goals to drive the business forward toward sustainable growth
+ Take entrepreneurial ownership of the financial plan, managing the Net Sales tracking and estimation process while identifying key risks and opportunities
+ Present Net Sales trends and strategic recommendations with clarity and conviction to Senior Leadership.
+ Strategically deploy the commercial trade investment (GtN) to accelerate growth and increase ROI for Tom’s of Main
+ Own the Tom’s of Maine 7Ps commercial plan and actively translate it into actionable goals for our customer team
_Cross-Functional Leadership & Advocacy_
+ Act as the central connector between the commercial teams and headquarters teams, including Finance, Marketing, and End-to-End.
+ Support, guide, and challenge the Customer Development Managers to identify new opportunities and develop effective action plans.
+ Work collaboratively with Colgate, Tom’s, and hello customer development managers to find innovative ways to maximize category sales and profitability
+ Serve as a key advocate and representative for Tom's, ensuring strong communication and strategy alignment across the enterprise for successful execution
+ Drive growth through creative, authentic Tom’s storytelling and foster strong customer engagement to deliver on financial goals

Required qualifications:
+ Bachelor's Degree
+ 8+ years of experience in Account Management and selling
+ 4+ years of experience in business development, shopper marketing, and customer experience
Preferred qualifications:
+ Experience working in the consumer product goods (CPG) industry
+ Experience working with a syndicated service (e.g., Nielsen, IRI)
Compensation and Benefits
Salary Range $133,000.00 - $150,000.00 USD
Pay is determined based on experience, qualifications, and location. Salaried employees may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, profit-sharing, and long-term incentives for Executive-level roles.
Benefits: Salaried employees enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, basic life insurance, paid parental leave, disability coverage, and participation in the 401(k) retirement plan with company matching contributions subject to eligibility requirements. Additional benefits include a minimum of 15 vacation/PTO days (hourly employees receive a minimum of 120 hours) and 13 paid holidays (vacation days are prorated based on the employee's hire date within the calendar year). Paid sick leave is adjusted based on role and location in accordance with local laws. Detailed information regarding paid sick leave entitlements will be provided to employees upon hiring and may be subject to adjustments based on changes in legislation or company policies.
