    Job: Utility Electrician Support

     

    Pay range: $19- $20

     

    Our client is seeking a detail-oriented **Utility Electrician Support** professional to assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment. The ideal candidate will support senior technicians and engineers, troubleshoot electrical issues, and ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Assist in the installation, testing, and maintenance of electrical systems and components.

    + Support troubleshooting and repair of electrical equipment and systems.

    + Read and interpret technical diagrams, schematics, and manuals.

    + Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance, and inspections.

    + Ensure compliance with safety codes and regulations.

    + Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to resolve technical issues.

    + Monitor inventory and request necessary supplies and tools.

    + Provide on-site and remote support as needed M-F 7a-3p

    Qualifications:

    + High school diploma or GED required; technical certification or associate degree in electrical technology preferred.

    + 1–3 years of experience in electrical maintenance or support roles.

    + Basic understanding of electrical systems, wiring, and safety protocols.

    + Valid drivers license, good driving record and background check.

    + Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

    + Proficiency with hand and power tools.

    + Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and procedures.

    Working Conditions:

    + May require standing, bending, and lifting heavy equipment.

    + Exposure to electrical hazards; must follow strict safety protocols.

    + Occasional travel to job sites on campus.
