Minimum Education/Experience
Bachelor’s degree and three years of experience in the area of assignment, of which at least one is supervisory or in a lead-worker capacity; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.

Position Overview
Primary Purpose of Position
The Temporary RecWell Coordinator will support the administration and growth of a comprehensive recreational sports program. This role is responsible for designing and delivering leagues, tournaments, and events that reflect student interests and advance institutional goals. The coordinator will lead the development, implementation, and supervision of programs including intramural sports, club sports, eSports, and special events.
Key responsibilities include assisting with recruitment, training, scheduling, and evaluation of student staff such as officials, supervisors, interns, and practicum students. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills while fostering an inclusive and engaging environment that enhances the student experience through competitive sports.
Primary Function of Organizational Unit
The Division of Student Affairs fosters student growth and development. The Division of Student Affairs aids, directs and informs students about services and programs that will expand students’ educational experiences and prepare them for diverse lives in local and global communities. The Division of Student Affairs is responsible for many of the outside the classroom/off campus aspects of student life at NCCU, including student engagement and leadership; career services; student disability services; student leadership; residential life; student activities; student conduct; special programs and services; student health and counseling services
