**Pay Range:** $38.02 - $61.88 per hour
Rush salaries are determined by many factors including, but not limited to, education, job-related experience and skills, as well as internal equity and industry specific market data. The pay range for each role reflects Rush’s anticipated wage or salary reasonably expected to be offered for the position. Offers may vary depending on the circumstances of each case.
Summary:
This position works with Cancer Service Line leadership to facilitate the quality data management plan. This position works with the Director of Quality and data analytics team to ensure strategic alignment of data projects with the Cancer Center's quality, operational, and programmatic goals. The individual who holds this position exemplifies the Rush mission, vision, and values and acts in accordance with Rush policies and procedures.

Position Qualifications Include:
• Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree preferred.
• At least five years of experience in healthcare. At least one year in data management or data analytics. Healthcare quality experience is strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of data administration and management functions (collection, analysis, distribution).
• Analytical mindset with ability to problem solve.
• Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work on a team. Ability to meet organizational goals and adapting to changing needs.
• Ability to collect, correlate, and analyze data as appropriate to determine trends.

Responsibilities:
• Create and facilitate a quality data management plan for the Cancer Service Line.
• Formulates techniques for quality data collection to ensure adequacy and accuracy of data.
• Ensures data meets required regulatory and/or quality standards.
• Support daily use of data systems for Cancer Service Line leadership and other staff as identified.
• Meet with Cancer Service Line leadership biannually to establish data-related goals, or alignment of data to new initiatives.
• Monitor and analyze information and data systems and evaluate opportunities for enhancement including new technology, upgrades, and other opportunities as identified.
• Troubleshoots data-related problems and authorizes maintenance or modifications.
• Manages the Cancer Service Line portfolio of data projects in alignment with quality, operational, and programmatic priorities.
• Facilitates biweekly meetings to establish priorities based on shifting needs of the service line.
• Maintains responsive and effective relationships in collaboration with the Director of Quality and other service line leadership.
• Communicates effectively with staff, supporting departments, and external agencies.
• Mentors and assists with onboarding (when applicable) new data analysts.
