ICP Group is seeking a highly driven National OEM Manager to lead the development and growth of strategic OEM partnerships across the paint and coatings industry. This individual will be responsible for targeting, securing, and managing large-scale OEM contracts for ICP’s products and private-label solutions.
This role blends strategic business development with hands-on territory sales leadership. The OEM Manager will not only develop national account relationships but also drive adoption and growth through regional distribution partners and independent retailers, particularly in high-potential markets.
Responsibilities :
+ Strategic Business Development
+ Identify, target, and secure national and regional OEM contracts for ICP products and private-label offerings.
+ Develop and execute a written business development plan aligned with company objectives.
+ Partner with executive leadership to negotiate and structure OEM agreements.
+ Territory Sales Leadership
+ Drive sales of Diversified Coatings products through independent retailers and distributor partners.
+ Expand market presence by adding new store locations and distributor accounts within assigned territory.
+ Prospect and develop commercial sales by engaging decision-makers and influencers.
+ Account & Relationship Management
+ Serve as the primary point of contact for direct-buying customers, OEM partners, and distributor leaders.
+ Manage accounts, including A/R support, technical services coordination, and project planning.
+ Deliver ongoing customer training, product demonstrations, and technical presentations (live and virtual).
+ Represent ICP at trade shows, demo days, and customer events.
+ Operational Excellence
+ Report weekly through the Salesforce CRM system with activity, pipeline, and forecast updates.
+ Review sales data to identify opportunities, address gaps, and refine growth strategies.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Technical Services, Marketing, Operations) to ensure account success.
Experience needed
+ Proven sales success in OEM, building materials, or coatings industries, with demonstrated ability to close large, complex contracts.
+ Strong business development skills, including cold-calling, prospecting, and new account acquisition.
+ Track record of engaging multi-level stakeholders, from plant managers to executive decision-makers.
+ Ability to work independently, travel extensively (up to 50% overnight), and manage a diverse sales pipeline.
+ Exceptional verbal, presentation, and negotiation skills.
+ Experience with technical/architectural coatings and the project specification process preferred.
+ Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or related field strongly preferred.
