ABCO Maintenance, a leading Commercial Facility Maintenance and Construction Company with over 35 years of experience, is seeking a skilled and proactive Remote Project Lead to oversee maintenance and construction projects across commercial properties in the Tri-State area. Key Responsibilities:
As a Remote Project Manager, you will oversee the successful execution of work orders and projects from start to finish. This role demands strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective communication with both internal teams and external vendors.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
+ Coordinating with on-site technicians and subcontractors to complete work orders
+ Planning project timelines and budgets
+ Allocating resources effectively
+ Monitoring project progress and ensuring timely completion
+ Documenting project details and maintaining accurate records
+ Communicating with clients and team members to provide updates and resolve issues.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
+ Proven ability to manage multiple projects, set timelines, and adhere to budgets, and specifications
+ Strong knowledge of building materials, construction details and relevant regulations/quality standards
+ Ability to identify and address issues by leveraging experience, on-site resources, and other tools.
+ Experience managing self-performing labor teams ideally as a project manager, preferably in facilities or construction
+ Ability to work independently with minimal supervision required
+ Strong problem-solving, multitasking, and delegation abilities

Position Requirements
Job Requirements:
+ 5 years+ of hands-on experience with maintenance & construction trades (e.g., plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, electrical, roofing)
+ Good track record of employment – with at least one job of 5-years in length and no job hopping at others
+ Prior Project Management experience
+ Proficiency with computers, mobile devices, and project management software
+ Must be self-motivated with minimum guidance
+ Strong problem-solving skills
+ Must have the ability to manage employees and delegate them multiple tasks
+ Effective interpersonal and communication skills
