Description

We are looking for a skilled QA Analyst to join our team in Southern California. In this long-term contract role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the quality and functionality of web and mobile applications. This position requires onsite work and offers an opportunity to collaborate with software engineers and business analysts to drive testing strategies and solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive testing of web and mobile applications to ensure they meet performance expectations.

• Develop detailed test plans and test cases in collaboration with software engineers and business analysts.

• Execute system integration testing and user acceptance testing (UAT) following established guidelines.

• Utilize tools like Atlassian Confluence and Jira to document and track testing progress.

• Write advanced SQL queries and procedures to support testing activities.

• Provide analytics and reports detailing the progress and outcomes of testing efforts.

• Prepare and deliver business presentations to stakeholders regarding testing results and recommendations.

• Create clear, actionable testing instructions and communicate these effectively to QA staff.

• Adhere to Agile methodologies and demonstrate flexibility to accommodate occasional overtime.

• Ensure all testing processes align with enterprise-class software systems and infrastructure requirements.

Requirements • Proven experience in QA testing for web and mobile applications.

• Proficiency in Atlassian Confluence and Jira for documentation and tracking.

• Strong skills in writing advanced SQL queries and procedures.

• Familiarity with Agile methodology and the ability to work in a fully integrated software environment.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken, with a focus on clarity and grammar.

• Ability to prepare detailed and well-structured business presentations and reports.

• Experience conducting system integration and user acceptance testing (UAT).
