    Robert Half Accountemps (Grandville, MI)


    Description

    We’re seeking a motivated and detail-driven Staff Accountant to join a growing organization in the Grand Rapids area. This position is ideal for someone with a strong understanding of accounting principles who enjoys working in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.

    Responsibilities:

    + Prepare and post journal entries, account reconciliations, and accruals

    + Assist with month-end and year-end close processes

    + Analyze financial statements and ensure accuracy of general ledger accounts

    + Support AP/AR functions as needed

    + Maintain fixed asset records and depreciation schedules

    + Assist with audit preparation and respond to auditor inquiries

    + Prepare various financial reports and provide analytical support to management

    Requirements

    Qualifications:

    + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

    + 2–4 years of general accounting experience

    + Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, or Sage)

    + Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills

    + Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
