    Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Middle River, Maryland. This part-time position is designed as a Contract to permanent opportunity, offering a chance to showcase your skills and grow within the role. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in managing invoice processing, reconciling vendor accounts, and supporting accounts receivable tasks as needed.

    Responsibilities:

    • Process and code invoices with accuracy and efficiency.

    • Match invoices to corresponding purchase orders and ensure proper documentation.

    • Reconcile vendor statements to resolve discrepancies and maintain account accuracy.

    • Generate accounts payable reports and provide insights to management.

    • Assist in accounts receivable tasks, including reporting and handling clerical responsibilities.

    • Conduct check runs and ensure timely payment to vendors.

    • Perform 3-way matching to verify invoices, purchase orders, and receipts.

    • Utilize Microsoft Excel for data entry, reporting, and reconciliation tasks. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts payable or a related field.

    • Proficiency in invoice processing, coding, and reconciliation.

    • Strong knowledge of accounts payable functions, including purchase orders and 3-way matching.

    • Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and its applications in accounting tasks.

    • Attention to detail and ability to handle multiple priorities effectively.

    • Excellent communication skills for interacting with vendors and internal teams.

    • Ability to work independently while maintaining accuracy and productivity.
