Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Property Administrative Assistant to oversee day-to-day operations at one or more affordable housing communities. The ideal candidate will bring exceptional management skills, a deep understanding of affordable housing regulations (e.g., LIHTC, HUD, Section 8), and a people-first approach to fostering vibrant and thriving communities.
Preferred Experience:
Administrative Support:
+ Provide comprehensive administrative support to property managers and staff.
+ Manage documentation and correspondence efficiently, ensuring all required forms and records are accurately processed.
+ Resolve minor tenant inquiries via phone/email or route them to relevant departments.
+ Support lease renewals, affordable housing compliance forms, and other operational needs.
Tenant Relations:
+ Act as the primary point of contact for tenants, fostering positive relationships and addressing concerns professionally.
+ Assist with tenant onboarding processes, explaining lease agreements and compliance requirements for affordable housing units.
Record Keeping & Reporting:
+ Maintain accurate tenant files, including legal and financial records, ensuring compliance with housing regulations at federal, state, and local levels.
+ Prepare monthly reports for management, summarizing occupancy rates, rent collections, delinquencies, and maintenance requests

Requirements:
+ Strongly desired: Background in property management, leasing, Yardi system usage, and permanent supportive housing experience.
