Description

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Bookkeeper to join a growing business in Tolleson, AZ. This temp-to-hire position is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional who excels in financial management and bookkeeping tasks. The ideal candidate will have experience working with either QuickBooks or Oracle accounting software, as well as a proven ability to handle day-to-day bookkeeping tasks with accuracy and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Record, organize, and maintain daily financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.

+ Manage the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and procedures.

+ Process payroll and ensure timely and accurate submissions.

+ Reconcile bank, credit card, and other financial accounts regularly.

+ Create and analyze financial reports such as income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports for management review.

+ Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes.

+ Ensure compliance with tax regulations by preparing and submitting required reports, including sales tax filings.

+ Work closely with management to provide insight into financial trends and areas of improvement.

+ Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records for internal and external audits.

Requirements

Requirements:

+ Education: Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred (equivalent work experience also considered).

+ Experience:

+ A minimum of 3 years of bookkeeping experience in a professional setting.

+ Proficiency in QuickBooks or Oracle is required.

+ Thorough knowledge of bookkeeping systems, financial transactions, and accounting principles (GAAP).

+ Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to create spreadsheets and use functions like formulas and pivot tables.

+ Excellent attention to detail with the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies.

+ Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills.

+ Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced work environment.
