Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to join our team on a contract basis in Richmond, Virginia. This role is pivotal in supporting the accounts payable team by ensuring accurate and efficient data handling. Responsibilities:

• Enter and update data accurately into systems, ensuring no discrepancies.

• Support the accounts payable team with data management tasks.

• Perform numeric and alphanumeric data entry with speed and accuracy.

• Utilize computer systems and software to streamline data entry processes.

• Maintain organized records and documentation for easy retrieval.

• Identify and correct errors in data entries to ensure accuracy.

• Collaborate with team members to meet deadlines and project goals.

• Follow established protocols and procedures for data handling.

• Provide regular updates on data entry progress to supervisors. Requirements • Proven experience in data entry roles, ideally supporting accounts payable or similar functions.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy under tight deadlines.

• Proficiency in numeric and alphanumeric data entry.

• Familiarity with data entry software and systems.

• Effective typing skills with a high level of speed and precision.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.

• Basic understanding of accounts payable processes is a plus.
