Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the preventative and general maintenance of production equipment throughout our facility. The role involves providing critical service and repairs, specifically on Swiss Lathes, Mill Machines, and other machinery as required. The candidate will work in a clean, climate-controlled facility on the first shift, with hours from 7:00am to 3:00pm, Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities

+ Assist with the installation, movement, and disassembly of machinery and equipment.

+ Maintain, overhaul, modify, and repair machinery and stationary equipment.

+ Perform electrical troubleshooting of CNC circuitry using multi-meter and other diagnostic techniques.

+ Ensure operating safety devices function properly upon completion of repairs, modifications, and installations.

+ Read and interpret manuals, schematics, and process specifications to visualize layouts and guide work.

+ Collaborate with production departments to ensure maintenance requirements are completed in a timely fashion.

+ Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work environment, practicing 5S principles, environmental sustainability, and continuous improvement.

+ Perform routine repair work and maintenance on a daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.

Essential Skills

+ 7+ years of maintenance experience.

+ Experience troubleshooting PLCs.

+ Ability to work with voltages up to 480V.

+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

+ Proven experience following a preventive maintenance schedule.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ CNC Maintenance experience preferred.

+ Experience with machinery such as Rolomatic, Tornos, Trumark, Mori, and Mazak.

Work in a cleanroom environment with air conditioning, part of a team of 5-6 Maintenance Technicians.

This is a Permanent position based out of Wheeling, Illinois.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $66560.00 - $83200.00/yr.
