Job Title: Heavy Equipment Mechanic
Job Description
As a Heavy Equipment Mechanic, you will be responsible for completing related paperwork and accessing databases required to complete your job accurately and timely. You will follow contamination control and HAZMAT rules and regulations, remove and install parts, disassemble and assemble components, and test and adjust assemblies while self-monitoring your work quality. This position requires mastery-level knowledge of various tools and equipment and the ability to provide accurate quotes and pricing estimates to customers. You will diagnose and troubleshoot problems, make recommendations for repairs, and perform critical machine and engine repairs and adjustments. You will apply specific failure analysis and procedures for accurate diagnosis and test and verify the correct operation of all repairs and adjustments, adhering to all company policies.
Responsibilities
+ Complete related paperwork and access databases accurately and timely.
+ Follow contamination control and HAZMAT rules and regulations.
+ Remove and install parts, disassemble and assemble components, and test and adjust assemblies.
+ Provide accurate quotes and pricing estimates to customers.
+ Diagnose and troubleshoot problems, and make critical machine and engine repairs and adjustments.
+ Apply specific failure analysis and procedures for proper diagnosis.
+ Test and verify correct operation of all repairs and adjustments.
+ Complete all Level I, II, and III assigned training proficiently.
+ Mentor machine team members.
Essential Skills
+ Mechanical repair and heavy equipment knowledge.
+ Proficiency with dozers, excavators, and caterpillar equipment.
+ Experience with disassembling and reassembling diesel engines.
+ Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
+ Knowledge of database, internet, manufacturing, and order processing software.
+ General knowledge of engines, electrical, electronic, hydraulic, mechanical, pneumatic systems and components.
+ Certification in air-conditioning.
+ Ability to provide accurate quotes.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ High school diploma or GED equivalent.
+ Associate’s degree/certificate in diesel technology or similar mechanical discipline preferred.
+ 1-5 years of experience as a diesel/automotive technician/mechanic or equivalent combination of education and experience.
+ MSHA certification may be required.
+ Certification to operate a forklift and/or man lift.

Positions are available for both shop and field work. Field roles require up to 40% travel and may involve being on-call for late hours. The work environment is dynamic, requiring flexibility to work various schedules, including shift work, overtime, and on-call duties.
Job Type & Location
This is a Permanent position based in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $58240.00 - $104000.00/yr.

Tooling Account credit
Every quarter get 100$ credit for tools (nice CAT branded tools)
Can finance the tools and have $50 deducted each week from paycheck
They do offer a relo/reimbursement package (nothing crazy)
