PLC / Electrical Maintenance Technician

Job Description

Perform general maintenance work for all facilities and grounds while supporting operational functions. Engage in skilled maintenance and repair of mechanical, electrical, and other physical structures.

Responsibilities

+ Perform general maintenance work for all facilities and grounds.

+ Support operational functions and assist with landscaping and lawn work if needed.

+ Perform skilled maintenance and repair of mechanical, electrical, and other physical structures.

+ Paint structures, perform masonry work, and repair plumbing fixtures, drywall, and woodwork.

+ Repair, alter, and maintain a variety of tools and equipment.

+ Repair, maintain, and install electrical systems and fixtures.

+ Measure, cut, bond, thread, assemble, and install electrical conduit.

+ Use hand and power tools effectively.

+ Work from blueprints, drawings, sketches, or layouts.

+ Support all facilities functions including bathrooms, lighting, air, and HVAC needs.

+ Repair and service torque tooling such as Atlas Copco.

Essential Skills

+ Electrical Schematics

+ Understanding of Voltages and Currents

+ Electrical Troubleshooting

+ Mechanical and Industrial Maintenance

+ Hydraulics and Pneumatics

+ PLC Troubleshooting and Programming

+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Three years of relevant experience in mechanical and facilities repair and maintenance.

+ Must have a good driving record.

Work Environment

Work primarily in climate-controlled facilities, with one non-climate controlled facility. The position offers a first shift schedule from Monday to Thursday, 6am-4:30pm, and Friday, 6am-2:30pm.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Summerville, South Carolina.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $54080.00 - $70720.00/yr.

PTO, paid healthcare, attendance bonus, retention bonus, gain sharing, clean and climate controlled facility, room for growth

Workplace Type

This is a fully onsite position in Summerville,SC.
