    Job Description

    We are seeking a dedicated Field Tech responsible for monitoring pile driving blow counts and testing densities across multiple sites in the Baton Rouge area. This is a fantastic opportunity for those looking to enter the construction industry and develop their skills.

    Responsibilities

    + Monitor pile driving blow counts at various sites.

    + Conduct density testing to ensure compliance with standards.

    + Document and report findings with attention to detail.

    + Work outdoors in various weather conditions.

    + Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.

    + Adhere to all safety guidelines and regulations.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience in construction environments.

    + Ability to work outdoors in the elements.

    + Strong documentation and attention to detail.

    + Commitment to safety practices.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience in heavy civil projects is a plus.

    + Familiarity with vibration monitoring and pile logging.

    + Possession of a truck is advantageous.

    Work Environment

     

    Work will be conducted on civil construction sites in the Baton Rouge area. You will be part of a small, collaborative team, performing labor-intensive tasks in a demanding environment. Proper attire includes long pants, steel-toed boots, a hard hat, and long sleeves.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $18.00/hr.
