    Job Title: Maintenance Boiler Mechanic

    Job Description

    We are seeking a certified Stationary Engineer, Grade 1 or 2, to join our team. The role involves troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining steam boilers, air compressors, cooling towers, and automation equipment and machinery. Additional tasks include facilities maintenance, such as HVAC units, and some electrical work, including one/three phase wiring, PLCs, and handling 120 to 480 volts. This position is approximately 70% mechanical and 30% electrical. You will perform required preventative maintenance on all equipment, conduct daily inspections, and ensure that equipment is repaired as needed. Your expertise will ensure that our boiler systems run at peak output.

    Responsibilities

    + Troubleshoot and repair steam boilers, air compressors, and cooling towers.

    + Maintain automation equipment and machinery.

    + Perform facilities maintenance, including HVAC units.

    + Conduct electrical work, such as one/three phase wiring and working with PLCs.

    + Complete preventative maintenance on all equipment.

    + Perform daily inspections and repair equipment as necessary.

    + Ensure boiler systems are running at optimal output.

    Essential Skills

    + Certified Stationary Engineer Grade 1 or 2

    + 5+ years of food and beverage industry experience

    + 5+ years of mechanical maintenance experience

    + Steam boiler certification

    + Experience with HVAC, facilities, air compressors, cooling towers, and automation equipment

    + 2+ years of recent electrical experience

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience with troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance

    + Knowledge of PLCs, hydraulics, pneumatics, and blueprints

    + Experience with minor electrical work

    Work Environment

     

    Work is conducted Monday through Friday, with first shift hours from 6 am to 2 pm. Flexibility to rotate and work 2nd, 3rd shifts, and weekends when necessary is required.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Missouri City, Texas.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
