Job Title: Machine Operator
Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Machine Operator for our manufacturing floor, working the 1st shift. The average working hours per week range from 45. You will operate a variety of machinery including saws, polishers, grinders, welding machines, metal benders, and water jet operators. This role requires you to set up machines in a heavy industrial manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
+ Operate various machinery such as saws, polishers, grinders, welding machines, and metal benders.
+ Set up machines efficiently and accurately.
+ Perform quality control checks to ensure products meet standards.
+ Operate waterjet and brake press machines.
+ Conduct inspections of machinery and products.
+ Perform basic preventive maintenance and lubrication on machines.
+ Load and unload equipment safely.
Essential Skills
+ Experience as a machine operator.
+ Proficiency in operating waterjet, brake press, and shear press machines.
+ Strong experience in quality control and inspection.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Ability to read blueprints.
+ Experience in a heavy industrial manufacturing setting.
+ Familiarity with basic preventive maintenance procedures.

Work Environment
You will work in a manufacturing environment within the metal industry alongside 80 other employees. The use of steel toe boots and safety glasses is required to ensure safety.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Dallas, Texas.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.
