    Job Title: Quality Inspector

    Job Description

    We are seeking a Level 2 Inspector for the day shift to conduct inspections of aerospace components and assemblies. This role ensures they meet quality standards and specifications, using precision measuring instruments and tools to verify dimensions and tolerances.

    Responsibilities

    + Conduct inspections of aerospace components and assemblies to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.

    + Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify dimensions and tolerances.

    + Perform visual inspections to identify defects, damage, or non-conformities.

    + Document inspection results and maintain accurate records of findings.

    + Collaborate with production and engineering teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.

    + Assist in the development and implementation of quality control procedures and processes.

    + Participate in internal audits and support continuous improvement initiatives.

    + Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and company policies.

    Essential Skills

    + 1+ years of on-the-job experience in manufacturing.

    + Proficiency in quality standards and blueprint interpretation.

    + Experience with precision measuring tools including calipers, micrometers, and height gauges.

    + Capability to perform both in-process and final inspections.

    + Experience with Radio Frequency testing and Electrical Testing (hi pot, insulation resistance, continuity, and impedance testing).

    + Ability to operate a computer and familiarity with CMM, GD&T, and AS91012.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + High School Diploma required.

    + Bachelor's Degree or above preferred for leadership positions.

    + Experience in aerospace manufacturing inspection is preferred.

    + GD&T (Geometrical Dimensional Tolerancing) knowledge is a plus but not required.

    Work Environment

     

    Work in a manufacturing environment with occasional loud noise where steel-toe shoes and safety glasses are required. The day shift runs from 5AM to 3:30PM, Monday through Thursday, with opportunities for 4-6 hours of overtime weekly. The role is temp-to-hire after 90 working days, and attendance is highly valued.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Simi Valley, California.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.
