Residential Finish Carpenter – High-End Construction

**Location:** Ankeny, Iowa

**Job Type:** Permanent

**Schedule:** Full-time, Monday–Friday

**About the Role:** We’re hiring experienced residential carpenters focusing on high-end residential construction and remodeling projects, where attention to detail and quality finish work are essential. You’ll be installing interior trim, cabinetry, doors, moldings, and custom woodwork.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Measure, cut, and install interior trim including baseboards, crown molding, window and door casings, and wainscoting

+ Install cabinetry, built-ins, stair components, and other custom woodwork

+ Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and project specifications

+ Operate and maintain carpentry tools and equipment safely and efficiently

+ Collaborate with project managers, designers, and other trades to ensure timely, high-quality results

+ Inspect work for precision, alignment, and finish quality

+ Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and company standards

Requirements:

+ 3+ years of experience in residential finish carpentry

+ Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery

+ Strong understanding of carpentry techniques, materials, and finishes

+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings

+ Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

+ Experience with custom cabinetry or millwork is a plus

**Work Environment:** This role involves working on residential job sites, including both new construction and remodeling projects. Occasional outdoor work and travel between job sites may be required.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $41600.00 - $62400.00/yr.
