    Manufacturing Engineer (Interior Components & Systems) – Drive the Future of Luxury Mobility

     

    Join a team that’s redefining what luxury and innovation mean in the automotive world. As an Interior Components & Systems Engineer, you’ll be at the heart of designing interiors that blend cutting-edge technology with world-class craftsmanship.

    What You’ll Do

    + Be a key player in a high-performing engineering team shaping the future of vehicle interiors.

    + Design and develop interior components that set new standards in luxury, safety, ergonomics, and performance.

    + Lead the packaging, engineering, release, and launch of interior systems across Lucid’s vehicle lineup.

    + Collaborate across design, marketing, and engineering to ensure every detail serves the greater vision of the vehicle.

    + Partner with top-tier suppliers to deliver technically excellent components—on time and on spec.

    + Innovate with tools and processes that push the boundaries of what’s possible in interior development.

    What You Bring

    + 4+ years of hands-on experience leading development of interior systems (e.g., hard/soft trim, IP, door trims, consoles, headliners).

    + Deep understanding of industry benchmarks, trends, and supplier capabilities.

    + Proven ability to define and drive technical specs and timelines for accelerated product development.

    + Strong CAD skills—especially in CATIA V5/V6—for concept drawings, packaging layouts, and DFM studies.

    + Experience launching products and vehicles into production.

    Bonus Points

    + Full-cycle program experience—from concept to production launch.

    + Expertise in plastic part design, structural performance, craftsmanship, ergonomics, and safety compliance.

    + Skilled in materials selection, injection molding, DFM, and GD&T.

    + Thrive in fast-paced, startup-like environments.

    + A hands-on mindset with a passion for building the best product possible.

    + Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

    Education

    + Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $50.00/hr.
