    Job Title: Architectural Project Manager

    Job Description

    We are seeking a talented and experienced Architectural Project Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in leading the design and execution of projects while ensuring alignment with strategic plans. This role involves actively participating in marketing and business development, managing project schedules, budgets, and ensuring client satisfaction.

    Responsibilities

    + Actively participate in the marketing and business development processes; create and monitor marketing and business development plans.

    + Represent the firm at professional and trade organizations.

    + Ensure practice organization, operation, and direction align with strategic plans.

    + Foster an environment of learning, collaboration, innovation, professional development, and communication.

    + Review and advocate for team members’ professional development plans.

    + Take responsibility for finished plans, specifications, approval of materials, and managing all aspects of multiple small to large complex projects.

    + Prepare design and proposal/presentation materials, estimate fees, and determine scope of work.

    + Conduct code research and analysis and collaborate with various agencies for approval.

    + Collaborate with engineers, consultants, contractors, and clients to ensure project standards are met.

    + Review shop drawings, submittals, and respond to RFIs.

    + Coordinate all project efforts to ensure efficient and cost-effective execution.

    + Actively manage client scopes, budgets, schedules, and programs, project communications and documentation.

    + Perform site observations and document construction progress.

    + Responsible for major design decisions, involving spatial, aesthetic elements, and detailing of materials.

    + Document project progression through correspondence and memos.

    + Follow projects through approvals and construction, initiating contact with clients and town officials.

    Essential Skills

    + Bachelor's Degree in Architecture from an NAAB-accredited program.

    + 10+ years of experience as a Project Architect/Project Manager or Design Architect, specifically focused on Healthcare.

    + Proficiency with Microsoft Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, and Revit.

    + Firm grasp of building technology fundamentals.

    + Thorough knowledge of relevant codes, operations, processes, and trends.

    + Excellent time management, organizational, and written and verbal communication skills.

    + Ability to effectively communicate and engage with clients.

     

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

     

    + Master's Degree in Architecture.

    + Registered as a licensed architect.

    + Experience with Newforma Project Center and/or Newforma Project Analyzer, Microsoft Project, Bluebeam, Revit, and PDF Revu.

    + Additional certifications such as construction administration, interior design, LEED/Green Globes/sustainability.

    + Experience in writing and editing specifications.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Atlanta, Georgia.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $67.31 - $72.12/hr.
