The manufacturing engineer plays a crucial role in overseeing the successful completion of small to medium-sized projects with medium complexity. This position involves developing procedures, providing training on new processes, tools, and equipment, and ensuring effective project progress reporting.
Responsibilities
+ Complete small to medium-sized projects of medium complexity.
+ Develop procedures and provide training on new processes, tools, and equipment.
+ Define Preventative and Predictive Maintenance requirements.
+ Conduct mechanical evaluations of processes and equipment as needed.

Work Environment
The work environment is a large manufacturing facility of nearly 500,000 square feet, specializing in sheet metal fabrication for shelving units. The facility is equipped with older machinery and can be noisy due to ongoing fabrication and manufacturing processes. Office spaces are located above the manufacturing floor to facilitate easy access to production lines. The role requires spending significant time on the floor, collaborating with production support and managing projects. This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Omaha, Nebraska.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $120000.00/hr.
