Job Title: Full Stack Developer
Job Description
Join an agile team environment where you will design, implement, and document new software products and make changes to existing products. You will also provide support for other members of the software team, other engineering projects, and various departments.
Responsibilities
+ Collaborate with product managers and other software engineers to transform ideas into functional software for dedicated hardware and personal computers.
+ Investigate and resolve bugs in existing software.
+ Write clear, annotated, and documented code that adheres to team coding guidelines, ensuring maintainability by other engineers.
+ Provide responsive and constructive code reviews for other software engineers.
+ Demonstrate completed work or features to stakeholders within the organization during sprint demos.
+ Mentor other engineers to encourage growth and technical excellence.
Essential Skills
+ Expertise in Python and JavaScript, minimum of 5+ years experience in both.
+ Strong software engineering skills with experience in GUI development, Windows, and SQL databases.
+ Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git.
+ Experience working in an agile environment, especially using Scrum.
+ Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
+ Effective communication skills.
+ Strong attention to detail.
+ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or equivalent education and experience.
+ Experience with software and product systems design and programming, including object-oriented design and MVC.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with graphical user interfaces.
+ Familiarity with HTML5, Node, Angular, and/or React.
+ Understanding of Python frameworks, such as Django or Flask.
+ Knowledge of a wide variety of digital and peripheral circuitry.
Work Environment
This is a 100% remote team consisting of 1 manager and 7 software engineers, including 2 software engineers, 2 software engineers, 2 junior software engineers, and 1 consultant. The team collaborates in an agile development environment.
Job Type & Location
This is a Permanent position based out of Wooster, Ohio.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $115000.00 - $130000.00/yr.
