    Summary This position is located at Child and Youth Services (CYS), Fort Campbell, KY. This announcement may be used to fill additional vacancies throughout the program. Management has the right to assign staff to locations as mission requires. First Child: 100% childcare fee discount Incentives and Bonuses Incentives will not be paid. Responsibilities Cleans rooms, corridors, stairways, and other areas. Sweeps, mops, vacuums, scrubs, strips and polishes using light and heavy duty powered equipment. Works along with other workers, setting the pace performing non-supervisory work of the same kind and level as that done by the group led. Passes on to other workers instructions received from supervisor, and starts work (e.g., by assigning the immediate tasks to be performed by individual members of the group led). Performs other duties as assigned. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Must meet the physical requirements of the position. Required is prior work experience that provided the knowledge, skills and ability to perform the duties listed above to include the ability to use and maintain the tools and equipment of the trade, to keep the assigned work area neat and clean, and to communicate both orally and in writing. Must possess good customer service skills in order to interact with people. Preferred is responsible work experience in the hospitality industry that demonstrated the ability to perform the duties stated above with minimal supervision. Ability to Lead other employees. Highly Preferred candidates will possess the following: minimum of one (1) year experience managing or leading employees This experience must be clearly defined on your resume to be considered Highly Preferred. Education Additional Information Area of Consideration Area of Consideration The Area of Consideration for this vacancy announcement is within the local commuting area (60-mile radius) of Fort Campbell, KY. Allowances and Differentials This job falls under the Federal Wage Schedule (FWS) pay system. FWS employees earn overtime pay for working more than 8 hours in a day or more than 40 hours in a week - whichever gives the employee more benefit. Regular full-time, regular part-time, and regularly scheduled flexible employees may receive Sunday premium pay for working on Sundays. Employees may also be eligible to receive extra pay if the majority of their scheduled hours falls after 3:00 PM. Non-foreign overseas allowances, cost of living (COLA), and differentials will not be pai.
