What’s Required for an LPN:

• Graduate of a practical nursing education program accepted for licensure by the Michigan Board of Nursing and a current, unencumbered Michigan LPN license.

• Active BLS certification or ability to obtain within 60 days of employment.

• Experience in a hospital, home health environment, office-setting or long-term care facility preferred

What's Required for a Medical Assistant:

+ CREDENTIALED MEDICAL ASSISTANT

+ High school graduate or GED equivalent is preferred

+ Credentialed as a Medical Assistant from an approved Munson Healthcare Credentialing Organization.

+ BLS certification preferred and must be obtained within 90 days of hire and maintained.

NON-CREDENTIALED MEDICAL ASSISTANT

+ High school graduate or GED equivalent is preferred

+ One year (1) relevant experience working in a physician practice or similar healthcare setting in a provider/patient support or Graduate of a Medical Assistant Program approved by Munson healthcare.

+ BLS certification preferred and must be obtained within 90 days of hire and maintained.
