Job Title: Accounts Payable SpecialistJob Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role involves processing incoming PO requests, managing supplier inquiries, and assisting with payment processing to ensure seamless financial operations.
Responsibilities
+ Enter new incoming PO requests or change orders submitted.
+ Review and process any incoming invoices that are not EPC related.
+ Assist with new supplier onboarding and supplier changes, as well as AP verification requests.
+ Process urgent payment requests.
+ Assist with wire requests.
+ Answer supplier payment or invoice status questions.
+ Assist with other ad-hoc tasks or special requests.
Essential Skills
+ 1-3 years of Accounts Payable experience.
+ Experience with purchase order and invoice processing.
+ Proficiency in data entry and accounts payable tasks.
+ Knowledge of PO matching.
+ Familiarity with banking methods including ACH, checks, and wire payments.
+ Experience using PeopleSoft.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Basic knowledge of capitalization and accounting.
+ Understanding of basic SOX compliance.
Work Environment
The role offers a hybrid work environment with 2 days in the office (Tuesday and Wednesday) and 3 days remote. Ideally, candidates would be located in Denver. This is a Contract position based out of Denver, Colorado.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $26.00/hr.
