PositionOverview:
Join our
team at McClellan Park as a Quality Inspector II, where you'll play a key role
in maintaining and overhauling rail vehicles that serve communities across the
United States and Canada. In this hands-on role, you'll lead complex
inspections, support continuous improvement efforts, and help ensure the highest
standards of safety and reliability.

What yourday may look like:
+ Performcomplex visual, dimensional, mechanical, and electrical inspections on avariety of components and systems, including first article inspections.
+ Prepareand approve inspection reports, charts, and basic statistical analyses toensure product quality and compliance with QMS, ISO, and SAP standards.
+ Leadroot cause evaluations and corrective actions using quality tools to supportcontinuous improvement.
+ Trainand mentor less experienced inspectors while working collaboratively in a teamenvironment.
+ Maintainworkspace standards by coordinating tools and supply orders, submittingequipment maintenance requests, and ensuring 6S compliance.
+ Usemetrology tools for precise measurements and apply problem-solving skills tointerpret instructions and resolve non-standard situations.
+ Maintaina strong focus on safety and accuracy while ensuring clear, thoroughdocumentation of inspection activities.
To thrivein this role, you have:
+ Highschool diploma or GED required.
+ 2+years of experience in quality department operations, preferably in amanufacturing or industrial setting.
+ Familiaritywith document control standards and protocols.
+ Workingknowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Teams, SharePoint, and SAP.
+ Understandingof ISO 9001:2015 standards and quality management systems (QMS) preferred.
+ Experiencewith Rolling Stock or related components is a plus.
+ Strongproficiency in metrology tools and measurement techniques.
+ Abilityto solve complex problems and interpret various types of instructions (written,verbal, diagrams, schedules).
+ Clearand legible handwriting for documentation purposes.
+ Willingnessto travel up to 5%.

position is located in Sacramento, CA. The hourly rate is from $22.29 to
$26.22 per hour. The actual salary/wage offered may be lower or higher
depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, and
qualifications.
