Position Summary:
The Senior Medical Director of Enterprise Quality will play a pivotal role in CVS Health’s management of quality initiatives and oversight. Reporting to the Chief Quality and Safety Officer of CVS Health in the Medical Affairs department, you will lead the oversight of enterprise quality reporting, management develop business partnerships to accomplish improvement initiatives, and overall clinical excellence. In this role you will work with teams across the CVS Health enterprise to lead quality governance structure, implement quality initiatives, monitor their success of initiatives, champion quality and safety culture and mentor teams to make improvements to achieve clinical quality and excellence. The Senior Medical Director - Enterprise Quality will leverage clinical expertise and expertise in quality, safety and process improvement to drive high quality, high value care. You will, in addition, manage a team to support this work, including a Medical Director and Senior Manager.
This is a work from home, remote based role, and can be based anywhere in the US.
Role Responsibilities:
+ Collaborates with clinical teams to develop and enforce clinical guidelines and protocols.
+ Leads, develops, directs and implements clinical and non-clinical activities that impact health care quality, cost and outcomes.
+ Monitors and analyzes quality metrics and performance data to identify areas for improvement.
+ Provides clinical leadership and expertise in the development of quality improvement strategies.
+ Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements and accreditation standards.
+ Fosters a culture of continuous improvement and patient-centered care.
+ Mentors and develops clinical staff in quality improvement methodologies. Leads, develops, directs quality governance Other duties as assigned
Re** **quired Qualifications:
+ Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role focused on quality improvement.
+ Managing a team.
+ Analytics, data interpretation and display
+ Clear communication and strong leadership skills
+ Communication and relationship-building
+ High level organizational and project management capabilities
+ Work collaboratively in a large, complex and multidisciplinary team environment.
+ Commitment to patient-centered care and continuous improvement.
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Healthcare quality standards, regulatory requirements, process improvement and accreditation processes.
Education:
+ Active and current state medical license without encumbrances
+ M.D. or D.O., Board Certification in a recognized specialty
Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$184,112.00 - $396,550.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
