    Position Overview

    We are seeking a highly driven **Transportation Planner** to oversee **Truckload and Intermodal operations across the U.S. and Canada** . This role is accountable for driving service excellence, optimizing cost and performance, and ensuring all activities are executed with integrity, transparency, and a proactive approach. The ideal candidate will be data-driven, results-oriented, and skilled in building strong carrier and stakeholder relationships.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Lead and manage **Truckload (FTL) and Intermodal (IMD)** operations, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and service reliability.

    + Develop and monitor key performance metrics to evaluate carrier performance, network efficiency, and cost optimization.

    + Partner with internal teams and external carriers to ensure alignment with business goals and customer requirements.

    + Utilize data and analytics to identify trends, drive continuous improvement, and deliver actionable insights.

    + Proactively address service risks, capacity challenges, and operational disruptions with transparency and accountability.

    + Foster a culture of integrity, collaboration, and process discipline across all transportation activities.

    Qualifications

    + 5+ years of experience in North American transportation, with expertise in Truckload and Intermodal operations.

    + Strong analytical skills and proficiency in leveraging data for decision-making and performance management.

    + Proven track record of improving carrier performance and driving cost efficiency through metrics and KPIs.

    + Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

    + Demonstrated ability to lead with transparency, integrity, and a proactive problem-solving mindset.

     

    The base pay range for this role is $65,450 up to $98,900 annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to US candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
