Position Summary:
The Receiving Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day receiving operations at the warehouse. This is a very busy, fast paced position requiring attention to detail. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: record keeping, invoice and receiving tracking, removing shipped products from vendors, confirming counts, working with other internal partners regarding product.
Job Summary: Accurately receiving inventory and production supplies into IFS, efficiently unloading delivery trucks, and verifying incoming shipments against product packing lists. Additionally, coordinating and storing shipments in the warehouse, and collaborating with Purchasing and/or Finance in case of any issues with incoming shipments and/or paperwork.
Duties and Responsibilities:
+ Counts, weighs or measures incoming items to compare identifying information and variety against bills of lading, invoices, orders or other records
+ Examines incoming shipments for damage or shortages and corresponds with shipper to rectify; completes paperwork or forms required for documentation.
+ Works with Purchasing to correct shipment or paperwork errors to product can be received in a timely manner in IFS.
+ Works with Finance to fix any receiving/invoice discrepancies.
+ Scan and maintain all packing slips daily.
+ Operates material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks or dollies to move stock or modernize storage.
+ Pull parts for the line and pull it to the line.
+ Daily report of parts not received supplier problems
+ Participates in 5S activities within the warehouse and outside storage areas.
+ Performs cycle counts of inventory and non-inventory items as requested using hand counts or weight counts.
+ Drive company vehicles to and from facilities
+ Other duties as assigned by management.

Work Environment:
+ While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to work near moving mechanical parts. The employee is occasionally exposed to work in high, precarious places and fumes or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
Credentials and Experience:
+ High School Diploma preferred.
+ Minimum 2 years of experience working in a material warehouse or storage operation in shipping role.
+ Minimum 2 years of verifiable forklift experience. Must be able to attain forklift certification through Hexagon Lincoln.
+ Valid Nebraska Driver’s License with good driving record required to operate company vehicles.
Other Skills/Abilities or Special Requirements:
+ Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
+ Ability to sit, stand, bend, climb or walk for up to 8 hours or more per day.
+ Ability to work with both hands and both feet on a regular basis.
+ Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and demanding environment with a strong sense of urgency.
+ Must demonstrate strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
+ Ability to work in a team environment and work independently.
+ Basic understanding of MRP/ERP systems.
+ Flexibility to work Saturday and Sunday if needed.
+ On call availability for special shipments.
Physical Demands:
+ The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include Close vision, Distance vision, Peripheral vision, Depth perception and Ability to adjust focus. While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand. The employee is frequently required to walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit.
