Patient Services Associate (100% Remote, 4-Months Contract)
Start Date: October 2025
Duration: 4 months
Pay Rate: $18.00/hr (up to $21.00/hr DOE)
About the Role
As a Patient Services Associate, you’ll be the first point of contact for patients, providers and payers—handling benefits re-enrollment and verification, gathering missing intake details, and keeping our Lynk system up to date. You’ll split your day between 25–50 inbound patient calls and strategic outbound outreach to insurers and providers.
What You’ll Do
+ Field and resolve 25–50 inbound calls per day related to re-enrollment and reverification
+ Make outbound calls to providers/payers to verify benefits and collect outstanding intake information
+ Document coverage details in a clear Summary of Benefits for patients and providers
+ Update case notes in the Lynk system to reflect status changes and actions taken
+ Balance a mix of patient-facing and provider-facing interactions
Schedule & Training
+ Training: First 2 weeks, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM
+ Post-Training: Monday–Friday, choose between 8:00 AM–4:30 PM or 9:30 AM–6:00 PM
+ Full training duration: Approximately 6–8 weeks
What You Bring
Must-Have:
+ Familiarity with medical terminology and basic health insurance concepts
+ Previous call center or healthcare customer service experience
+ Empathy and professionalism when assisting patients

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00/hr.
